Linden Ellis
IEE advances environmental and social sustainability for our planet, people and our collective prosperity

Linden Ellis is an independent writer and editor on environmental and development issues. She is the former US project director of chinadialogue, where she established the organization’s first office in the US, based in San Francisco. There she managed and raised funds for US operations, as well as writing and commissioning articles. She is a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists, and before joining chinadialogue, was project assistant at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholar’s China Environment Forum. At the Forum, Linden authored and coauthored numerous articles on Chinese environmental and food safety challenges and opportunities for cooperation with the US. She has a BA in Chinese language, with a concentration in environmental studies from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
