Steve Hicks is Co-founder & Strategic Adviser to Clark Sustainable Resource Developments Ltd, a privately held Canadian company established in 2005. It is dedicated to securing and operating licenses to harvest underwater forests in the tropical regions of the world. The company is currently focused on its first such resource project at the Volta Lake in Ghana. Stephen Hicks brings his extensive experience and knowledge from the municipal and private investment banking sectors. He was the lead banker on underwriting of more than US$10 billion in taxable and tax-exempt securities.
Hicks has served on the boards of a number of private companies and has been involved in various community initiatives. These include being a member of the Board of Trustees of the East Bay Community Foundation. Hicks is a graduate of the University of California and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
